"وفي الختام، إن سألتم لمَ أُعطيت لنا هذه الصورة الكاملة للدجال في الكتاب المقدس، فجوابي هو: لكي نتبينه بوضوح حين يظهر. فماذا عسانا نفعل حين نراه قد أتى؟ هل نقاومه، هل نحاربه بالسيف؟ ذلك، بالطبع، مستحيل تمامًا. إنه آتٍ لا محالة، ويجب أن يأتي. ومقاومة مجيئه عبث محض. فمجيئه لا يُقاوَم، والمعركة ليست معركة سيف. بل كما جاء في النص: "من كان للسبي، فإلى السبي يذهب؛ ومن يقتل بالسيف، فبالسيف يجب أن يُقتل." لا، لا يمكننا أن نقاوم قوة الدجال بالقوة الغاشمة. فحين تأتي تلك القوة العالمية وتسيطر سيطرة مطلقة، سنكون خاضعين حتى النهاية، في حدود ما يأذن به الله وتمليه ضمائرنا. ولكن هنا تكمن صبر القديسين وإيمانهم، أنهم في كل هذه الأوقات يظلون أمناء، ويرفضون إنكار المسيح. إنهم ينتظرون يوم مجيئه. ليت الله يمنحنا نعمته لنكون أمناء في كل حين، ساهرين ومصلين، لئلا يسلب أحد إكليلنا."
